YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU: Welfare Officer Vacancy
Our ethos in the Youth Section has always been to provide a safe and fun environment for our 100+ children from Minis through to U18s.
To help us achieve this, the designated club Welfare Officer provides support to the players, parents, coaches and Committee Members. This role is also a requirement of the FA and key component of our chartered status.
We have been very fortunate to have had two exceptional Welfare Officers since the Youth Section was launched – initially Nicole, and more recently James – and we thank them both for their fantastic support.
James is now standing down and we are very keen to appoint a new Welfare Office as soon as possible. No previous experience is necessary, training will be provided and James will be on hand to help in the initial handover. Support will also be provided by fellow Committee Members. The role should not require more than a couple of hours of your time each week.
